So, I'm hanging out with Steve
...and I'm telling him I'm going to sing "Not a Day Goes By" in Olympia's Gala of Stars at her theatre. So he says, "You can't sing that song, I wrote it for a woman." As if anything written for a Broadway diva was going to stop a gay man from singing it. Please. After a while he came around and I got the royal blessing. That gave me a little more confidence when I sang it. I didn't want to get up there and think, "Hmmm, I wonder how Bernadette would do this?"

Sheesh. It's not like you wanted to sing Rose's Turn...
Ahh, those geniuses. They can be soooo eccentric...
Cheers,
Mr. H.K.
